About the role

As a senior systems engineer, you will work closely with both development and architecture and actively contribute to the design, implementation, and further development of platforms and technical solutions. The role combines strategic responsibility with hands-on work in an on-prem environment. 

Your tasks include: 

• Design, implementation, and optimization of Linux-based infrastructure solutions 
• Working with CI/CD flows, primarily via GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions 
• Container management with Podman and associated platform components 
• Configuration and operation of reverse proxy solutions, such as Traefik 
• Working with messaging services like RabbitMQ 
• Contributing to solution and system architecture, including microservices and API design 
• Collaboration with development teams on .NET solutions (incl. EF Core) and SQL 
• Ensuring stability, security, and quality in deliveries 

Your profile
 

We are looking for someone who: 

• Has at least 4–8 years of relevant experience in systems, infrastructure, or platforms 
• Has deep expertise in Linux-based environments 
• Has experience with on-prem infrastructure in complex environments 
• Is accustomed to working closely with architecture and technical decision-making processes 
• Has a good understanding of both infrastructure and application-level development 
• Is self-driven, structured, and takes responsibility for the whole 

Meritorious 

• Experience in Platform Engineering 
• Experience with microservice architecture in larger systems 
• Previous work in security-classified or regulated environments 

Other 

• Security clearance is a requirement for the assignment 
• The assignment is located in Linköping with the possibility of hybrid work
